Governor to Sign Bill

Gov. Herbert Signing Bill into Law

During the 2010 Legislative Session of the Utah State Legislature Representative Rhonda Menlove sponsored House Bill 132 the “Pioneer Trail Memorial Highway”. This bill designates the last 36 miles of the trail that was followed by the early pioneers entering the Salt Lake Valley as a memorial highway and will be designated as such on all future highway maps produced by the State of Utah. The bill passed the House and Senate unanimously and will be signed by Governor Gary Herbert on Monday April 19 at 1:15 in the Gold Room at the Utah State Capitol.
